I guess I’ll have to post this in english seing as I’ll (probably) get a rush of readers from around the world now that ecto is released as a public beta. Ecto, is the next generation weblog-client, replacing Kung-Log, both of which are from the talented Adriaan Tijsseling. It interfaces with all the popular personal publication engines (blogging is such a tired word ;) like MovableType, TypePad, Nucleus, Blogger etc. So why am I hawking this like I’m Elijah Wood in a corporate Apple video? Because I made the icons (and contributed some to the general UI). Simple as that.
It took me a day or so to create the Safari-style icons (it’s harder than it looks), and it was a challenge to make them fit into a standard style toolbar. It don’t look quite right with the text labels on (not to mention if you turn small icons on - don’t!) and the spacing is a bit wider. But that’s sacrifices you got to make. I think it looks good :-)
Looks like someone likes the icon so much that they blogged about it. I’m stunned :-)

Hello.
Thank you for trackbacking.
Your blog's graphical design is cool. I like it.
I'm a Japanese guy.
Are you Swedish?
I have no idea what language your blog is mainly written in, but I think it may be Swedish because I found character "a" with a circle above it. ;-)
It's Norwegian. Close, but no cigar ;)
Vennlig hilsen Erik K. Veland, 9. januar, 2004 18:06It's a weird language, allright. But then, I speak Dutch, which is probably just as nuts.
They sometimes sound very similar though... Even though it's completely not interchangeable.
Dutch sounds like fake-Norwegian ;)
